Name 100 dinosaurs from memory
T. rex, raptor, triceratops — Hollywood got you halfway. The rest is museum placards and childhood books. Type each dinosaur name in English (Latin genus names are fine); we check our pool. Abbreviations and full names map to the same slot.
What counts
- Type the usual English dinosaur name — “Tyrannosaurus rex”, “Stegosaurus”.
- Dinosaurs only — modern reptiles and pterosaurs do not count here.
- T. rex and Tyrannosaurus rex count once. Full names preferred.
- Each species once. Timer runs up.
Era by era
Hollywood first — T. rex, raptor, triceratops, stegosaurus. Then sauropods, then theropods you forgot from documentaries. Museum gift-shop names are fair game.
Frequently Asked Questions

Only once — abbreviations and full names map to the same dinosaur.
Can I answer in Chinese or another language?
No — our list uses the usual English or Latin genus names (Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor). Abbreviations like T. rex and raptor are fine.
Do pterosaurs like Pteranodon count?
Not here — this list is dinosaurs only. Flying reptiles belong on a different round if we add one.
